I am really in a good mood. Purdue football team won at last!! Man, that was after 5 loses but today’s game was fantastic! Michigan led by 14-0 at first but Purdue tied the score with two touchdowns, thanks to Kory Sheets and Justin Stiller (the new quarterback for Purdue replacing Curtis Painter). After that, Michigan once again led with 14 points from two touchdowns but Purdue made a huge comeback with three touchdowns and led 28-35. Then both of the teams had one touchdown each and the clock is 0:53 when the ball was carried by Purdue in Michigan-35 yard. That was when Purdue made a beautiful play with Justin Stiller find Greg Orton, who then passed the ball to D.Tardy for Purdue’s 7th touchdowns of the day. And then only I knew that we can pass more than twice in a football game (American football i mean), what a loser I am. So, that was it. There should be a 35% discount this Monday in the University Bookstore and that’s a tradition here in Purdue. Every winning game means a 5% discount for each touchdown on the next Monday. I guess I’ll try to squeeze in the bookstore since the next two games are away and the last game home is with Indiana, our biggest rival, who’s not that bad. Ok, enough with football.

A bit on Malaysian politics, I was shocked to hear that the government is planning to buy new helicopters, Eurocopter Cougar, just by looking at the specifications on paper. Well, as an aeronautic student(yg x tahu ape2), I admit that the spec is far better than any other helicopters like Sikorsky or Augusta, but the way they do their work are unprofessional. And I pretty much agree with DSAI’s statement that government is risking the life of our troopers. Yes, life and death is on Allah but do you think you are going to survive when riding on a flying-coffin like Nuri? Or the simplest example, do you think Allah will grant you a long life if you stand in the middle of a busy road. Come on, I put a really high hope in you my ‘dear’ government!
